BLACKPINK has now joined the 200 million views club on YouTube!
The monster rookie girl group made their their debut on August 8 of 2016 with their single album Square One, which features the double title tracks BOOMBAYAH and Whistle. The music video for the song BOOMBAYAH has gone on to become the most viewed debut MV by a K-pop group on YouTube.
On August 13, the BOOMBAYAH music video reached another achievement on YouTube by hitting 200 million views! It is BLACKPINK's first MV to reach the milestone.

The only other K-pop artists with music videos that have surpassed 200 million views on YouTube are currently PSY, BIGBANG, and TWICE.
BLACKPINK celebrated their 1st debut anniversary on August 8, when in a moment of true K-pop magic, their fans were able to give them the present of making their As If It's Your Last MV reach 100 million views.
