Netflix’s upcoming film “Revelations” has released new stills of its main cast!
“Revelations” follows a pastor who believes he has a divine mission to punish the perpetrator of a missing person case and a detective haunted by visions of her deceased sister as she investigates the case. The film, which is adapted from writer Choi Gyu Seok's webtoon, explores how their beliefs influence their actions.
Newly released stills from the film highlight the tense aftermath of a young church member’s mysterious disappearance. The images feature Pastor Sung Min Chan (Ryu Jun Yeol), who becomes entangled in the case; Detective Lee Yeon Hui (Shin Hyun Been), leading the investigation; and ex-convict Kwon Yang Rae (Shin Min Jae), a key suspect.
Pastor Sung Min Chan believes he has received a divine revelation identifying ex-convict Kwon Yang Rae, a visitor to the church, as the culprit behind the disappearance. Ryu Jun Yeol’s expressive performance captures his character’s deep inner conflict, drawing viewers into the unfolding tension.
Detective Lee Yeon Hui, unable to escape the guilt of her late sister’s death, uncovers suspicious ties between Pastor Sung Min Chan and Kwon Yang Rae while investigating the case. Her wary expression at the crime scene raises questions about her past and her possible connection to the case.
Shin Hyun Been fully embodies the role of the trauma-ridden detective, delivering a gripping performance. To portray Lee Yeon Hui’s exhausted and fragile state, she sports a short haircut and minimal makeup, enhancing the raw realism of the character.
On a rainy night, Kwon Yang Rae, cloaked in a raincoat, is trailed by Sung Min Chan, heightening suspense over whether he is truly the prime suspect. Shin Min Jae’s eerie expression as Kwon Yang Rae adds another layer of intrigue.
“Revelations” is set to premiere on March 21.
